Who sells
SayToEdit Audio is made by Promptly (reg. PAPBJØRN ApS) (CVR 40368442, Grejsdalsvej 437, 7100 Vejle, Danmark). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle sells the plans and credits, handles payment, VAT and invoices, and handles all customer service inquiries about payment and returns. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
What you buy
A plan gives you a licence to use SayToEdit Audio on your Macs for the period you have paid for, plus the credits included in the plan. Plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions. The plans, prices and included credits are shown on the pricing page. Each user can activate up to 3 Macs. Team covers 5 users; the buyer is the owner and can invite and remove users.
Credits
Credits are used by the built-in AI chat. One credit is one minute of audio edited with the chat: the first time a file is edited with the chat, its length in whole minutes is deducted. Each file then has an AI budget; when it has been used, the app asks before deducting the file’s length again. Credits included in a subscription expire 2 months after they are added; purchased credit packs expire after 12 months. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Free trial
New users get 7 days with everything switched on and 30 credits. No payment details are needed. After the trial you can still open projects and listen, but cleaning, AI editing and export require a plan.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; the plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails, the plan keeps working for a grace period of 7 days while the payment is retried.
Prices and VAT
Prices are shown in USD, EUR and DKK. Prices in EUR and DKK include VAT; for prices in USD, VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Businesses with a valid VAT number pay without VAT. We may change prices for future periods; you will be told before a change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
Right of withdrawal
The software
Your use of the app is covered by the licence terms. If the app does not work as described, you have the rights that follow from mandatory consumer law, and we provide the updates needed to keep it working while your plan is active. Text made by speech recognition or AI can contain errors; check it before you publish. Keep your own copies of your recordings.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost data, lost income or lost recordings. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the last 12 months. This does not limit rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Complaints and law
Write to info@promptly.dk. These terms are governed by Danish law; as a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory law in the country where you live. You can complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board through the complaint portal of Nævnenes Hus (naevneneshus.dk). For purchases across borders in the EU, the European Consumer Centre in Denmark (Forbruger Europa) can help.
